My name is Ann. I have had lifelong food battles. Some ups and downs. My parents super sucked and my childhood was beyond horrible so I coped with self punishment methods a lot. Not eating, cutting, drugs. As a teen I suffered from anorexia and was only 117 pounds (at 5ft 9in) when at 16 I conceived my now almost 17 year old son. Being a mom first and foremost has always been what was most important to me in life. So I was determined to eat enough and have a healthy baby... when I gave up NOT eating to control my emotional issues... I instead started OVEREATING... that's been a 17 year battle back and forth now. Every time I lose the weight I end up falling back off the other edge and not eating enough, then I get pregnant and panic and well gain it all back plus some. I am doing Keto now and plan to follow it for life and weigh and measure all food daily forever at this point. This hopefully will prevent any more repeats and allow healthy pregnancies without the up and down weight spiral. I am currently down 76 pounds since February 3rd 2016 and hoping to drop 120 more.

Thanks for sharing!!! You certainly have been through a lot - but you're doing great right now with the keto and that's awesome!

Hi Ann. Thank you for sharing your journey. So glad you are part of the herd. What a great place for support and friendship! Keep up the good work and cheers to happy healthy pregnancies! I will cheer you from the sidelines, but I am perfectly happy to be done with having babies 😉

Well #7 coming next July but with continued diet and exercise I should still see the scale move in the right direction even during the pregnancy.
